Meeting Holds at a Critical Time for Maritime Security in Nigeria
This year’s AGM comes at a crucial period, as maritime security remains central to national discussions on safety at sea, deterrence capability, and the long-term sustainability of private-sector maritime security operations.
MASPAN’s leadership has continued to work closely with the Nigerian Navy, maritime regulators, and other security bodies to reinforce the security architecture protecting Nigerian territorial waters and the vessels navigating them.
Members Encouraged to Participate Fully
MASPAN urged all members to attend the AGM on time, noting that deliberations will cover:
- Corporate governance matters
- Policy alignment
- Sector-wide decisions that will help shape the future of Nigeria’s maritime security industry
The association reaffirmed its commitment to serving as the sector’s coordination hub and strengthening the framework for safer, more secure maritime operations across the country.
